Another Embarrassment

Some weeks ago, Italy, one of the few allies to actually put boots on the ground alongside US troops in Iraq, was hit by a destructive earthquake.

The US, which has a century long history and reputation for helping both friend and foe in time of natural disaster; offered manpower and equipment to help alleviate the suffering. The Italian government very diplomatically said that personnel, while appreciated, were not needed. An influx of personnel who were not totally self-sufficient could problematical.

In previous cases where monetary needs were greater than others, the US has given multiple millions for the rebuilding of infrastructure and to build temporary housing and feed the homeless.

In this case, however, the President, who was at the G 20 meetings stated that the US would make a cash donation of $50,000. Undoubtedly, he was trying to convince his fellow G 20 heads of his intent to get control of the US economy.

On the other hand pop entertainer and actress Madonna gave a personal donation of a half-million to the small town in which her grandparents met.

I wonder how the US donation might have been adjusted had the earthquake stuck in a country with a recent history of animosity toward the US and a third world position coupled with a more diverse religious makeup. It probably would help for the recepient nation to have no history of African colonialism.

Ask the questions the media won't ask.

We have wound up in one helluva mess because of the demise of ethical journalism in 2008. Journalists became cheerleaders and remain so today. They are so invested in the current national administration that they cannot even attempt to revive true reportage.

It now falls to us to do our own homework between now and the 2010 elections to find suitable Congressmen and Senators to return the balance of power in the U.S. government. Only the election of conservative legislators can blunt the sword of socialism wielded by Barack Obama and his henchmen.

Below are a few questions to be posed to any and all candidates in the 2010 races, be they incumbents or newcomers. Just ask, "Mr./Ms _______, would you work to see that these things happen within the first year of legislation after your election/re-election? Vote according to what you hear, and be prepared to continually remind the legislator of his/her answer. Ask them all; conservative, liberal or whatnot. Be sure your heretofore conservative is not wavering and neo-conning.

1. Cut off all foreign aid except for one-time grants in case of natural disaster.

2. Inform Israel that the Uncle Sucker umbrella is gone and that Israel's continued viability is directly contingent on its own diplomatic and military abilities. The Middle East problem will soon resolve.

3. Inform the global community that the U.S. has fought its last conventional war and that forcing us into any military action will be fatal beyond all doubt. They will not have time to be either shocked or awed.

4. Drill here. Drill now. Offer tax incentives for the entrepreneurial production of domestic oil and gas and alternative/renewable energy sources. Not one dime for private research. Reward production, not speculation. Low crude prices must not reduce the search for energy independence.If we do not control the supply, prices can and will go up.

5. Roll back all "Green" B.S. forced on us as payment to the radical environmentalists.

6. Announce that anthropogenic climate change (not global warming) is a lie perpetuated to create a new source of income for the redistribution of wealth throughout the world, and proceed under that premise.

7. Repudiate any and all "eco" treaties we have been talked into to our detriment and make it clear that our first and only mission is the sustenance of the United States of America. We will pollute as necessary to sustain our way of life and standard of living. We stand ready to enforce, not defend that position and we are far more capable of doing so than any other nation on earth. See #3.

8. Return the U.S. to the status of a producer of products other than an anemic currency.

9. Place tariff sanctions on products not produced within the borders of the U.S. or its territories, regardless of the domicile of the manufacturer. Bring jobs back to the United States.

10. Seal the borders with the troops returned from our final conventional conflict then round up and deport all illegal aliens regardless of country of origin. Revise immigration rules to make it almost impossible for an uneducated, unskilled, unsponsored person to gain entrance. NO MORE student visas. "Ask not what our country can do for you. Tell us what you can do for our country."

11. Announce that the U.S. is out of the nation building business, and that those citizens or inhabitants of countries which they feel or know to be repressive have our wholehearted blessing in any effort to improve the situation just as long as it is not detrimental the the United States.

12. Invite the United Nations to find another host country and primary financial contributor; then insist.

13. Finally, ask the candidate if they feel that the 2nd amendment to the Constitution is sacrosanct and an excellent tool for the defense of the other amendments.

We are going to have to do our own digging, because truth in reporting is already dead and buried.

Yesterday those who have borne a horrific burden of guilt for their part real or imagined in the denial of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness to black people cast off their load and placed their faith in the new Messiah. They afforded him the greatest accolade and honor available to an American, that of President of the USA. Certainly, they reasoned that this move should wipe away their racial sins and those of their benighted ancestors. They congratulated themselves on their willingness to come together with their downtrodden compatriots. It was an "Oh! what a good boy am I" moment. It was rumored that ghostly strains of Kumbya could be heard throughout the land.

Do you think that the race industry will wither and die as a result of this watershed moment? Will Reverend Wright open his pulpit to white evangelicals? Will the old guard like Calypso Louis, Jesse, Al and the rest who have shut up until after election day remain silent? Will the NAACP, the SNCC and the other alphabet groups welcome the newly minted acolytes with open arms? The only thing accomplished on November 4, 2008 was election of a Negro President. That is all.

It is reported that B. Hussein Obama has raised close to a half BILLION dollars in campaign contributions and that about half of that came from foreign donors. That is ILLEGAL. There is no use in parsing, chewing, hemming, hawing. It is against Federal law for anyone other than an American citizen living outside the country to contribute to an American campaign. Guess what ? It is just as illegal to accept the money. He hasn't been elected and he is already doing just as he darn well pleases. What if he is elected? Hang on - it's gonna be some kind of wild ride.

He has always done as he pleased. I wonder if he was ever told "No" and that it stuck. He has gotten away with everything because he always had the big Race Ace up his sleeve. Those not willing to go along with his criminality were just racist. Anyone seeing through his actions could only do so because they were peering from behind a Klansman's hood. Bull !!

Do not elect this criminal President and let him get out of reach. He should be in the Big House, not the White House

My niece, Katelyn, stationed at Baluud , Iraq , was assigned with others of her unit, to be escorted/guarded/ watched out for Martha Raddatz of ABC News as she covered John McCain's recent trip toIraq . Katelyn and her Captain stood directly behind Raddatz as she queried GI's walking past. They kept count of the GI's and you should remember these numbers. She asked 60 GI's who they planned to vote for, in November, '08. 54 soldier's said John McCain, 3 for Obama and 2 forHillary. Katelyn called home and told her Mom and Dad to watch ABC news the next night because she was standing directly behind Raddatz and maybe they'd see her on TV. Mom and Dad of course, called and emailed all the kinfolk to watch the newscast and maybe see Katelyn. Well, of course, we all watched and what we saw wasn't a glimpse of Katelyn, but got a hell'ava view of skewed news. After a dissertation on McCain's trip and speech,ABC showed 5 GI's being asked by Raddatz how they were going to vote in November; 3 for Obama and 2 for Clinton. No mention of the 54 for McCain .

let me share some info with you that i have gotten from excellent sources within the DNC: On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur after the VP debate on 10/2.there have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info. generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out there to as many blog sites and personal email lists as is possible. i have already seen a few short blurbs about this - the "health problem" cited in those articles was aneurysm. probably many of you have heard the same rumblings.however, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like this obama strategy will be a go. therefore, it seems that the best strategy is to get out in front of this obama maneuver, spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is. so, let's start mixing this one up and cut the obamites off at the pass - send this info out to as many people as you can - post about it on websites and blogs - etc etc. lastly, i have put an excerpt from Rudy's speech at the RNC below - it seems to address the very issue!!yours in the fight,excerpt from R.Giuliani's speech at the 2008 RNC:Well, I'll tell you, if I were Joe Biden, I'd want to get that V.P. thing in writing."

This is not surprising. And it scares me just as much as Palin scared the Libs. If nothing else, this should prove to anyone who has never tasted Kool-Aid that ALL the Libs want is IN !! They do not have any sort of beneficent plan. Since the Most Merciful has been running for President the question has been often asked, "What is a community organizer?" One of Hannity's guests ; I think it was Newt said that it was basically a troublemaker. I am in agreement, but here is a little something on That particular community organizer.

This comes from Wikipedia, which is not a prayerbook, but close enough for government work.

As you can see his greatest accomplishment during his stint as a community organizer was to expand the staff and call for more money. What happened to the Chicago School system? insofar as Altgeld Gardens; since when do people getting free housing need to organize? The Gamaliel Foundation is quite interesting within itself. Apologies and reparations have a distinct flaw. They have no limit. They are like blackmail; pay once and you most assuredly will pay again. And again. What will be enough? For how long? How much? To whom? They will probably create a whole new bureaucracy to administrate it.

Just remember, we cannot afford to turn Obama loose with congressional majorities. Not when he has so many special interest groups for us to repay for him.

Madame Speaker Pelosi smelled a liberal defeat and and did the honorable, responsible thing- She ran !!

When it became obvious that an up or down vote was impending that would clear the way for the extraction and utilization of domestic oil, Nancy took one for the team. Rather than to expose her fellow liberal congresspeople to flak from their constituencies who are suffering from pump shock; she cut and ran. She cleared the House, turned out the lights and adjourned until Sept. 8. You will note however that the liberal membership killed no time boarding various fossil fuel using modes of transport (fully financed by the taxpayers- you know, those guys paying $4.00 a gallon for gas) and heading for the hills.

It was win-win for She Who is Saving thePlanet. The public remains in misery and more receptive to being saved by the Liberals. She also showed those damned Conservatives who was in charge. In effect, she told the country to go to Hell, she was going home. Just think----

Nancy running the House or running home at will; Harry Reid running the Senate all hooked up with that big-eared clown to rubber stamp their foolishness. Won't life be grand ?

The Lord Messiah Barack had planned to end his visit to Germany with a visit to the injured service personnel at Landstuhl Hospital. He was also to stop by a couple of Air Force bases and visit with the troops. Such a situation in which to act Presidential !! He could have even practiced his Commander in Chief skills; or picked up a few.

He finally opted to go back to the hotel for a workout. It appears that it was against the rules for him to bring his camera-armed entourage with him. It would not be a photo op for a candidate. He was quite welcome to visit the troops as the senator from Illinois, with a few people in his party.

Throughout the entire trip Lord Barack had protested that the trip was not a part of his campaign, but a fact-finding mission. Once it became obvious that the entire flotilla would not be allowed , his handlers decided that it would not be well to make a Senatorial type visit during a trip that was being financed by the campaign. So, that was it - NO LIGHTS- NO CAMERAS-
NO ACTION !! So- on to the gym !!

Several German women who saw him immediately after the workout gushed and marvelled that "he doesn't sweat". You can bet that he would have broken a sweat if he would have had to face a ward full of wounded guys that he still maintained had failed in their mission and had no chance of success.

I guess that not having his lights, cameras, advisers , and teleprompter along might have caused a case of separation anxiety.

It would have been far classier to have never scheduled the visit than to have done it this way.
But then, class is not a requirement of the office. Pity.

The Lord Messiah Barack has been out of the country drumming up votes from foreigners. He has been on a summer trip overseas spreading the word of CHANGE and holding out hope as something he can give to the citizens of the countries he visited when he cannot do a thing for them either as President of the US or in his present state as the Man Who Would Be King. He can no more help them than they can vote for him. The main thing he promises to his European constituency is that he will endeavor to see that Americans are at least as miserable as they are.

It would serve the average American well to realize that other than our money, we are not particularly loved by our counterparts in most of the world. The love affair is chilling because the USD is down vis-a-vis the Euro. They have not one whit of compassion for the average Joe who is suffering from "pump shock". They are just glad to have the company, as in "misery loves---".

Lord Barack broadly hints that he will see to it that being an American citizen will become secondary to being a citizen of the world. The present citizens of the world eat this tripe with a spoon. They have wanted to see Americans brought to a more equal status ever since we caused the liberation of Europe from Nazism, then saved the erstwhile enemy's capital city from starvation. They have wanted a further levelling since the US caused the breakup of the old Soviet Union. Lord Barack offers HOPE that this will happen, and that the CHANGE ; if it comes about; will be forever.

He has been running around with his flotilla of people who call them selves journalists, trying to act Presidential. These so-called journalists are nothing more than shills and sycophants who are not reporting what is, but what they and he hope we will accept.

There are actually organizations for his election in these countries he visited this last week. They want him to win !! It is not actually discernible whether they want him to help or to harm the US. I rather favor the latter when I think about it.

We Americans must realize that if the EU wants him, it is not because he is going to to do anything to help the US. He' s been trying to act Presidential and has failed miserably. If our European friends (?) find him so attractive and Messianic, perhaps he could run for President of everything EXCEPT the US. If he were to, and won, then we could once more liberate Europe.

According to the Christian Science Monitor and several other publications, China has now surpassed the United States as the greatest producer of carbon dioxide on the planet. The primary blame for this is the desire of the Chicoms to emulate the American lifestyle. They want it all, and they want it right now. If you don’t think this is true; remember 20 or so year old news clips of Chinese traffic- bicycles. Where are they now ? Probably stashed behind the Volvo, Porsche and Mercedes dealerships which have sprung up in major cities. Bear in mind that all of the world’s automakers who sell in the US make special US models to meet our outrageously stringent pollution standards. The cars for sale in China, India, Brazil and other big-time “greenhouse gas” producers cannot be sold in the US because we abide by pollution agreements that others ignore.

It has been suggested that since the US created the desire for the new lifestyle, we should set a better example by cutting down our “ungreen” activities. So it would appear that the US is expected to further cripple ourselves while the “emerging” economies do as they please.
Since the 1950’s it has been known that there were not enough resources worldwide to allow the world to enjoy a standard of living equal to that of the US. That was true then and still is given the growth in worldwide population.

A few weeks ago, Senator Obama stated that we could not drive our SUV’s, eat as much as we want, and keep the thermostat at 72 and expect other countries to just say “OK”. I do not care to continue my “globalization” by driving an unsafe roller skate, going hungry , chilling in winter and sweltering in summer just so some tin pot 5th world spot of land will like me.

I would personally like to repudiate all of the “Green” agreements we have been talked into, then hold a massive rollback of environmental rules we have forced on ourselves at the constant behest of the radical tree-hugging left. Then we could get started on drilling for American oil and developing unshackled and unsubsidized alternative energy. While this is being done we must return to being a country that produces something other than money- a commodity which is quickly losing value as far as the emerging economies are concerned. We must stop buying trash made in the emerging countries and return to pride in “Made in the USA” products.

In the last war we won, WW II, we did it by out producing the enemy and taking the fight to them. As it stands now we are not capable of the production necessary for the desired outcome. If reaching that point means some more CO2, then so be it.

At this time we must elect a Commander in chief whose each and every act is calculated to further, benefit and strengthen the USA as envisioned by the Founders. To Hell with popularity contests. If the country were to fail there will be no friends - only vultures. And they are waiting for us to fail. For most of the world, even the shards of a shattered USA would be far ahead of where they are now. It would also be so nice for them if the shards came for free. Why are we in "interesting times"?

Fuel prices are sky high and going higher. Food prices are close behind. Nothing is being done. What is going on?

We are being set up to be "saved". The liberal congress is not going to move on anything that will ameliorate the misery we are in at the present. They will try to punish oil companies with windfall taxes and squeal bloody murder when that tack is denied by the Senate.

The idea is to let the public "stew" until election time and then promise to "save" us if only they are given virtually complete control- White House, House, Senate the whole thing. They want us desperate and willing to accept whatever amplification of our misery they can invent to ensure expansion and entrenchment.

There is a catch to this. If they fix things, they will "work themselves out of a job". If there is nothing from which we need to be saved. We won't need the Nannies. Sooo- they ain't gonna do much fixing. Over the next few posts we'll look at what they will do if we let them . Interesting stuff like redistribution of wealth, socialization of medical care; maybe even the redistribution of land.

It would be funny, but it has gone too far.

I understand that Hillary has come as near as she can to resigning the Democratic nomination race. She did reserve the right to take her case to the credentials committee. That is if something wild and wooly comes up before Obama Hussein is officially nominated. I guess that would also work if tragedy were to strike.

Looks like she and Charming Billy are a bit shell shocked that what was construed to be a coronation and a fait accompli has turned to pure merde. Notice that the other early contenders actually appeared in the race just so it could be called a contest. Then came the Black Prince, the Purveyor of CHANGE. The DNC now had the problem of having to choose which of its factions it was going to alienate.

The DNC for decades has pandered to women and Blacks. That coalition served the Dems well in many situations.

While the Clintons had been good and faithful Dems, Willie's proclivities and Hill's reputation had made some anxious to be rid of them. So it was decided to sell out women; who would be more easily regained rather than Blacks who would be forever alienated if they thought there had been reluctance to accept Obama.

Soooo- Hill was sold on the block of expediency.

I can understand them being a bit nonplussed. It must be kinda like having a pro bowl season and being traded for a tenth round draft choice.

Been fiddlin' with this thing. You know, layout, colors, that kind of stuff. Looked over a hundred or more existing sites . Then it struck me-- "Keep it simple, Stupid". So ease of reading will be high on the list. I don't think I'll need to use any special effects to get my ideas across. They are fairly simple, too. Very vanilla.

Sooo- then one of those seminal moments hit. Why not actually post something and get this thing up and running?

We're a bit sad here at the Old Folks Home today. Our cockatiel just politely keeled over yesterday. He was a lot of fun. His primary stock in trade other than the usual "What you doin'"? and that kind of stuff was whistling the entire Andy Griffith theme in correct sequence. He will be missed.

Well, about time to see which one of the rice burners is going to embarrass the good ole boys this week. Boogity, boogity, let's go racin' !!
